Kaitaishinsyo "Nakamichi DRAGON" This time I' going to disassemble Nakamichi DRAGON. This is a masterpiece cassette tape deck. It put on the market in 1982. 3HEAD auto-reversible. It mounts NAAC and direct drive dual capstan etc. Wow-flutter is 0.019% It was amazing. It can record clear and accurate. I Satake and repairer disassemble it together.

At first, we put off up side panel. There are three big electric circuit and many cables in it.

Second, we put off front panel. there is another panel below right knob and button. It is easy to put off front panel but to put back is not easy.

putting off under panel, you can see a couple of big electric circuits. DRAGON mounts many electric circuits and parts of a machine.

It is another circuit at reverse side. It mounts a lot of cables as PC. Some of them are connected by sockets the others by solder.

It is open side. a bunch of cables are connected by sockets. It is a precision machine.

Putting off left side electric circuit, you can see a lot of cables. Three of big electric circuit boards are a little warped because of many cables.

These are heads. This is the central part of Nakamichi DRAGON.

This is a close-up of mechanical parts. Our try disassembling is finished here. I think Nakamichi DRAGON is a precision machine and has many cables. This DRAGON is in good condition.
