NS-1000M was born in 1974. It mounts 3cm beryllium tweeters, squawkers and 30cm paper cone woofers. This enclosure is very heavy.

Sounds are very good especially piano. Some broadcasting station in Europe used these speakers as monitor speakers.

NS-1000M became one of the goal as a monitor speaker in Japan. YAMAHA had made many speakers after NS-1000M, but I think, All of them didn't exceed NS-1000M.

I think this speaker is an excellent article. but it has some weak point. Its woofer is little bit weak than tweeters and squawkers. and it need more high range.
