This is an super-audio CD player SA8260 of Marantz. I wanted to purchase this player for a long time. Although I bought another one because of its good low-range sound of VRDS at last, the SA8260 is absolutely one of my most favorite players still now. Honestly speaking, the following is my personal opinion but I would appreciate it if you read it through. |

The most excellent feature of the SA8260 is its high cost performance ratio. The best thing is that it employs CS4397, a digital-to-analog converter by the Cirrus Logic. Some overseas CD players at a price between 100,000 and 200,000 yen employ the Marantz's digital-to-analog converter, but most of them are the lower-class CS4396. This shows the superiority of the SA8260. Besides, the strengths of the SA8260 lie in its functions. Probably users have experienced the difference. Usually the left channel's output port is on the left side of the front panel, but this player has it on the right. This is not incidental but as a result of an ultimate thinking to avoid the interference of signal circuits. It is the very result of Marantz's development of audio equipment. |

The sound is the fruits produced by Marantz's high technology and taste. The SA8260 reproduces completely clear sound and wonderful stereo sound.
