This is Itoh in Akihabara shop. I love audio very much individual. and having been looked back upon my past collection, I bought Macintosh very much (I was attached like for something). Usually they say about Macintosh, the power amplifier was more popular from preamplifier ,though I liked to collect preamplifiers rather than power amplifiers. I bought from C8, and bought such that (with a tuner or etc). |

C29 is one of the preamplifiers which I (am being a maniac of MAKKIN) recommend to you. (In fact, I do not buy Macintosh after C29.) Although I like the combination of C28 and MC2205, If you use C29, you can feel the range and S/N will become good suddenly. Although that peculiar merit that old Macintosh has is lost on the other hand, if you change power amplifier to [ of the same time ] 2255, a feeling of energy will increase suddenly. |

In McIntosh, I think that C29 is one of the highest amplifiers. Especially when you play JAZZ music, sound comes out in front. It has Forcibleness and smoothness, and added McIntosh sound. I think that C29 is a rare preamplifier in Macintosh. |
