1. Sales result of How much would you pay to buy Cartridge case?

The highest price : \8,000

We know that FR-5 cartridge case is popular for audiophile but we got so many offers than we expected. It was competitive deal and this was the first time that two persons offered the highest price. If more than one person offer the highest price, the item will be sold to the first person who offered that price.
Our president was quite satisfied with this result and he has got another cartridge case from somewhere to sell in this issue.



2. How much would you pay to buy Sony Cartridge case ?

This cartridge case looks flimsy as compared with FR-5 which looks strong and hard. This item might be produced just for sales promotion because model number is not found anywhere.
The case with orange fabric interior is designed to hold three cartridges and its cover is made by transparent acrylic resin. Transparent cartridge case looks so cool.

3. Result of The first issue of Stereosound magazine

Winning bid : \65,000

The bidders were excited before auction started.
Some bidder said ,I have been looking for this magazine for over 20 years.
We are surprised to know the collectorﾕs enthusiasm .

4. Auction for Tonearm

Auction Item in this week is Ortofon RMA309 which has certain reason. RMA 309 was repaired by Hi-Fi Do but finally the cost of repair was far expensive than the owner expected . For that reason we bought it from the owner and decided to provide it for auction.
Usually we will estimate the cost of repair first, but there are some cases that we are not able to estimate exact cost before we begin to repair. We have to repair the fault one by one and the total cost of repair is not available until repair is completed. In this case, we will obtain the ownerﾕs consent to pay all price for repair before we accept to repair. However, it still happens that the total cost of repair is rather expensive than he guessed.
When we accepted to repair RMA 309, it seemed that adjusting receiver of cartridge is only required. But it was found that there was something wrong with inner cable as we proceeded to repair. Finally, it was required to replace inner cable and plug.
This is most popular tonearm among Ortofon compatible with A Shell.
The condition is normal . It is not confirmed if replaced inner cable is pure copper wire 8N but we have already confirmed that it is dynamic balance type and takes damping adjustment system by spring.
