We are often checking the time when Auction deadline is
fast approaching.The number of bids and the bidding price
are updated manually, so it might happen that another new bid
is placed while auction data is being updated.
We are sorry for the incovenience this may have caused.
The automatic bidding system will be available soon.

It often happens that several bids are placed during
5 minutes after closing time.
PC's time should be corrct because bids are placed by
e-mail. Please Check if your PC's time is set correctly.
Bidding time is certified by record of Hi-Fi Do mail server.
Recently overseas bidders are increasing and the time lag
causes some problem.
When you place bid from overseas, please consider the time
difference between Japan and your country.

1.Sales result of "How much would you pay to buy BOSE901?"

These speakers might be great toys for the dexterous people
who like fidding with machines because there are 18 units
required re-edge. It is worth repairing all units.

2.How much would you pay to buy VHD deck and software?

VHD and LD are Video Disc system and their relation is almost close
to that of Betamax and VHS in video cassette format system.

LD uses Laser-read optical disc system that a laser beam reads
the track and plays back sound and video,on the other hand VHD
are stylus-based capacitance disc systems that a metal tipped
stylus helps to sencse capacitance changes created by micropic
pits on the smooth surface.
The VHD discs are protected in a tough plastic caddy to prevent
smudging because VHD is capacitance-based system.
Therefore, it is impossible to touch the disk directly.
The disks, 26cm in diameter, are black color same as
standard LP record but glooveless.
The VHD deck is Victor HD-9300 and it is in good working
condtion. Just for your information,the repairs by Victor
is not available now becasue there are no parts for HD-9300.
34 VHD discs are included with HD-9300. It might be useful
to keep it as a spare deck to watch your valuable VHD disks.

"Vintage amplifier- Vol.12 Tapedeck,etc" back number
selection 5, which was published on September 30, 1996
and the total number of pages is 428.
