Hi-Fi Do's Online Newsletter Vol.28

It seems that one week has passed so fast since we started
to issue Online Newsletter.
Every Sunday we try to find the items for auction and
"How much would you pay?"
Thursday is auction closing date and we are busy for
controlling it and processing image data for the
next auction.
Friday is the deadline date of Japanese Newsletter.
It often happens to replace the image data just before
issuing newsletter. English Newsletter is issued on Saturday.
That is our weekly schedule for Newsletter.
Now, new members have joined us as editorial staff.
We will do our best to improve the contents of Hi-Fi Do
Online Newsletter.

1.Sales result of "How much would you pay to buy VHD
deck and Software?"

We got no offer for this item. The reason might be that
there are few people who have VHD software.


2.How much would you pay to buy Phono Sheet?

"Phono sheet" is very thin vinyl record which was developed by
French Phono Record manufacturer "SAIP" in 1958.
Phono sheet appeared as a new kind of magazine with
sound in Japan.
It had large variety of contents such as music, language, poem,
comic,etc. and it became very popular with reasonable price as
compared with real record.
However, too many publishers were competing with one another
to handle phono sheet and the price was vastly discounted.
The copyright problem also happened . On the other hands, poor
quality phono sheet appeared on the market.
Finally popularity of Phono sheet had steeply declined and most
of publishers were out of operation in 1970.

The item in this week is Phono sheet "BEYER" published by ASAHI
Sonorama company in 1961. "BEYER" inclueds 8 phono sheets at \750.
The condition is excellent.

"Stereo Sound - Special study for Tube amplifier"
Published by Stereo Sound on March 31 1995
Market Price : \2,800 inclusive of tax

This magazine includes listening comparison list of 75 tube
amplifiers and comparison list for sound quality of 11 output
transformers.

As you may know, the new magazine called "Kannkyu Oukoku" was
published later, not as separate volume of "Stereo Sound" .
