We are glad to deliver the fiftieth Hi-Fi Do Online News Letter
(Japanese Version).
Only three staffs manage this News Letter while doing their own job.
At present Japanese Newsletter is delivered every Friday and English
one is delivered every Saturday. We plan to distribute both
Newsletters on every Friday, but we are always busy for finding
auction items and topics and work to the deadline.
We hope that both of them will be delivered on the same day within
this year.
We will plan special program in commemoration of both Newsletter
when it is accomplished.

WALKMAN?"

The following is comment on WALKMAN from our subscriber:

I am certain that this item should be the first model of WALKMAN.
However, the headphone terminal of the very first production lot must
be indicated
"MALE" and "FEMALE" instead of "A" and "B". I had the real first
model but I sold it at flea market.

We would like to know how much it was sold at flea market?


2.How much would you pay to buy Ortofon flag?

This flag seems to be a kind of sales promotion goods which were
distributed to audio shops.
It is made from vinyl and there are holes at the four corners
on this sheet. There is the red print of "ortofon accuracy in sound"
on a white field.

The following "SELL"information is posted :

1) Power amplifier McIntosh MC30(pair)

This model was listed in "BUY" information before.

Output tube and rectifier tube of RCA black plate are used.
One volume knob is tight and different power cords are used
for this pair of amplifiers, however, it is recommended item.
Please check the physical condition by photo.

Specification : Dual cone speaker (Bass unit 40cm, Tweeter 5cm)

This item was produced around 1960 and it is in good condition
in spite of small dent.
There is a photo of speaker unit installed in another speaker which is
inferior to the seller's item in condition.

The condition of the item offered by seller is much better than
that in photo.
