One week has passed since a clearance sale started in Nipponpashi
warehouse in Osaka.
Junk amplifiers and cassette decks piled on the floor seemed popular
items but there are still many other bargain goods.
This sale will be available until June 30 and we are looking forward
to your coming.

1."Walking around Akihabara" by Taro Akiba
"Walking around Akihabara #7"
I called Hi-Fi Do Akihabara shop on Wedesday afternoon and asked
if 6v6 metal tubes arrived. The clerk told me they had already arrived
and I went there to get them.
The shop manager showed me 6v6 and said "They looks brand- new and
original box is also available." In fact anyone might think they were
brand-new.
The price seemed rather expensive but I bought them because they
looked so beautiful.
I hastened home as I really wanted to try these tubes. As soon as I
arrived at my house I opened the box to take them out, then replaced
glass tubes with 6v6 in the amplifier and turned on the switch.
The sound generated by metal tubes were more clear than the sound
by glass tubes. I was so impressed with the effect by the metal tubes
and had been listening the sound for one hour. I changed the
tubes from metal to glass in order to check the difference of
the sound.
It was apparent that my favorite sound was generated by metal tubes.
I replaced metal tubes again and I was satisfied with my purchase
in Hi-Fi Do.
Finally I took a nap while listening it.
To be continued.
2. Cappuccino's Jazz Live Concert Report
How are you doing?
Finally it is rainy season all over in Japan. In this season people
are reluctant to go out because of rain. It might be nice to listen
to the music with the sound of rain outside when we relax at home.
Live concert by EQ was conducted in Mr. Kellys in Umeda on June 9.
This concert is the commemorative tour for releasing the second CD.
The audience was mostly women same as before in the ratio of 7 to 3.
I and my friend were looking forward to seeing Masahiko Osaka. It was
lucky for us that he smiled to see us waving to him. The concert
started with the music " Mr. G" composed by Saxophone player,
Osamu Koike.
It was rhythmical music with deep saxophone sound. The second music
was "It's argent" composed by Masahiko Osaka and the drammer's
performance was so exited. "Wondering In Forest" started with Wood
Bass solo by Koichi Nou and we enjyoyed brushing performance by Osaka
and very smooth piano performance by Makoto Aoyagi. We listened to the
ending music of World Jazz Warehouse "A Cat On The Catwalk" imaging
the motion of the cat. The cutting of the drum was cool.
It was a well-balance live concert and we really enjyoed their
performance.
After an encore, I walked to Osaka and asked him a handshake.
I thought his hands might be rugged but I found they were very soft.
I was so happy to take some pictures with him and other members. I was
wondering that their next concert would be available autumn or winter.
Anyway, I am looking forward to seeing improved EQ at the next concert
again.
If you miss this live concert, please try to go next one.
