Auction in Newsletter 6. Message from Shop Manager 1. CARDAS "Golden Reference" cable by Kenji Kondo I can tell my favorite sound quality the moment that I listen to the first sound. When I select a cable, I check if it makes my favorite sound quality and it is compatible with the system. I do not care reviews of the cable in the magazine and its price. The most important thing is that the sound is your favorite and its quality is your own choice, so you always have to audition with your system. This time I auditioned AC and RCA cables of CARDAS top quality cable, Golden Reference Cable. AC cable is used for the power amplifier, and RCA cable is used for the middle of pre and power amplifiers. The sound quality, especially low and middle level, was fantastic as might be expected of CARDAS Golden Reference Cable.The bass sound was so sharp that it could reproduce the superb sound. 2. Cappuccino's Jazz Live Concert Report August 12th was my memorial day because I interviewed for the first time, and that I interviewed to my favorite drummer, Masahiko Osaka at the Royal Horse, Osaka. The interview is as follows ; Q : When you saw a live performance of a drummer Elvin Jones in Tokyo at the age of twelve, you felt interested in his ununderstandable performance. A : I was practicing the drum with a manual from eleven years old. When I saw Elvin Jones playing the drum live, I was surprised at his performance not to follow a manual. My impression of him was strong to his crazy drumming. I did not understand he was a excellent drummer or not, and his performance was good or not. Just I understood he seemed to be a great man. Q : What do you think that kids are coming to a Jazz Club to listen to a jazz ? A : I don't care if kids listen to a jazz quietly. I give a lecture concert to listen to a jazz for kids. Sometime familiar music for kids is requested, but I do not agree to this idea. What is important is to make kids take a jazz we adults play in their sensitivity. Q : You play the drum as a regular member of each different bands. What formation is the most difficult to perform your drum? A : I have nothing particular, but except for duo with piano and drum because a jazz regards the piano as the traps. Q : The marimba is not suitable for a jazz? A : Probably not. Because it has no sustaining. The organ will be ok. Q : What is your hobby besides music? A : I love to appreciate art. During a tour, I have a time so that I visit an art gallery. Drumming is important to keep a balance as well as art. The point of the art such as what is drown in which part, and which color is put is related with the drum performance. The piano and drum or the base and drum have always the multiplier effect. Next time I will report his live over two weeks. CD is presented over three weeks from this week. Each week is one each. The jazz information is main but you can enjoy reading it even if you are not a jazz lover. You can read a daily with your imagination feeling the music lingering on in your mind after the performance was over or feeling the live performance you could not join. 4. Walking Around Akihabara by Taro Akiba I wanted to manage to get condensers by the end of the day so that I looked around a few shops. I could get almost all condensers but could not find only 400V 0.47 Bita Q. By the information of my friend, I went to one shop which has Bita Q. I was surprised at the price that it was so expensive that it was twice as much as usual. I gave up buying it at this shop. At another shop I found SANGAMO. It seemed to be the similar ability as Bita Q and it was cheaper than Bita Q SANGAMO oil condenser is probably marvelous like 400V 0.47 Bita Q. I decided to buy this SANGAMO and the single line.
