CD recommended by Mr. Kondo KODO ONE EARTH TOUR SPECIAL Japanese Drum Group "KODO" SONY Music Entertainment SICL-10001 This is a live album by "KODO" which is world famous Japanese Traditional Drum group. Last year I went to the live concert of "KODO" in Kyoto and the powerful heartbeat sound has been still vivid in my mind. People are attracted by the powerful sound of Japanese Drum with heavy bass. The recording quality seems to be the best as ever.
	In the second number, the sound by big drum is so excited. It is recommended to listen to it with a large speaker in order to enjoy the deep bass with dynamic range. JBL K2 S9800 with HALCRO dm68 and dm10 might be the best. The third number has powerful impact and an encore with the clapping of the audience bursted.

It is great that members and audience can enjoy music and atmosphere together in narrow space of the club. Village Vanguard is the famous Jazz Club of long standing . It is not allowed to take photographs there and the audience enjoy performance very seriously.
	I asked Jazz shop "MIMURA" to import this CD and I got it. The soft and gentle sound by piano, base, horn and drums in "FOCUS" remind us the good old days .The famous drummer, Lewis Nash makes great performance to lead other players."Good Bait" is fabulous, too. A brilliant drummer , Lewis Nash coalesces the whole band, giving each members great inspiration.The smartly executed and the best play.Piano solo by John Hicks is swinging and excellent.After the performance, Joe Lovano introduced members, Lewis Nash got a storm of applause.I'm interested in drums because drummers use their hands and legs and all.Drummers must have super neural structure to be able to handle all these drums.Lewis got a good taste in music on top of it.A CD called "It Don't Mean A Thing " is great as well.
