CD recommended by Mr. Kondo Sketches of Nature/Sadao Watanabe Sadao Watanabe(as,ss,fl), Cesar Camargo Mariano(p,key), Romero Lubambo(g), Sergio Brandao(el,b), David Silliman(per), Tokyo String Ensemble Universal Jazz 2005 UCCJ-2033 2005/2/23 released This is the best album by Sadao Watanabe and he selects the music related the theme of nature in this album. Sadao Watanabe is a supervisor of exhibition supported by Japanese government in World Expo Aichi. The theme of Expo 2005 is "Nature's Wisdom" and this theme made him select the numbers with natural image released from 1997 to 2004 . Simple melody by Sadao Watanabe with Latin music of Samba and bossa nova gives us comfortable feeling.
	Richard Bona, Romeo Lubambo and Cesar Camargo Mariano create the rhythm of the sound for the earth covered with green, on the other hand the saxophone by Sadao Watanabe creates the sound of summer breeze. "Share the world"(#12) is composed for the message song for EXPO 2005 by Sadao Watanabe. Children sing his message "Love and future of the earth" and his beautiful melody is so impressive.
CD recommended by our guest Guest in this week :Black Panda Ondo Ondode Zenkyokusyu/Haruo Minami Haruo Minami(vo) Teichiku Entertainment TECE-28542 Released in April 14 ,2005 EXPO reminds us of a great Japanese singer, Haruo Minami. He passed away in April 14, 2001 and every year his album is released from Teichiku on the anniversary of his death. This album collects various kinds of Ondo song(Japanese dance song). EXPO song (#13) is selected for this album because 2005 is the year of World EXPO Aichi. "Cheerful" is the right word to express Haruo Minami and he is a real entertainer. He was regarded as most famous Ondo singer in Japan and there are many themes for Ondo songs for this album
	Ondo is Japanese dance song and any kind of people, men and women of all ages can enjoy to dance with "Ondo" song at festival. It is so-called typical Japanese song for common people. We want the foreign people visiting EXPO 2005 to enjoy dancing with "World Peace Ondo" (#1).
