As I recalled my first memory of Keith Jarrett, it might be Standard Trio or Koln concert . Analog records were popular in those days. I remembered that I listened to the records with YAMAHA NS-2000 ,GT-2000L and A-2000 in those days. Since then, I like Keith. Keith has been playing intently Jazz, Standard, complete improvisation, classic, regardless of music styles or genre. He must be one of the most impressive pianist. This is an excellent solo album of Keith Jarrett which I recommend you listening to. "RADIANCE" filled with his spirit and feeling will give you nice sound of high quality. |

Hod's praises lively drum performance of Kenny and Sonny Rollins' Pent-Up House is seasoned well with Kenny's drums. Introduction of "Little Niles" arouses my interest. Strange melody of this music is very impressive. Stryhorn makes grace and swingy performance on "Snibor" and "Take The 'A' Train". Ray Drummond starts excellent bass performance on "In A Sentimental Mood" of Duke Ellington. Hod's piano sounds beautiful. Piano and drums are chasing on "In A Sentimental Mood" and their performance makes audience relaxed. Piano trio fans and Jazz beginners can enjoy this album because a lot of standard numbers are selected in it. |
