The Beatles is immortal forever. This is the latest album of Beatles numbers by piano trio with jazz arrangement . The members are first-class musicians like Michel Brecker and John Scofield and they make it gorgeous album.

Total 12 numbers from popular songs to minor ones are covered. The arrangement makes them quite new songs . Various arrangement keeps jazzy style. It is not typical Jazz style or Pops style. Listeners can feel subtle jazzy mood throughout this album.

Matured singer makes Jazzy performance beyond his genre. I was crazy about rock, pops , and soul when I was young , so I was interested in this album in which Paul Anka sang rock in jazzily. There are nice rock numbers from 80's to 90's
Music is changing with time, however, the famous songs always inspire people.
Paul Anka makes a great performance with his husky voice.

This album starts with "It's My Life" by Bon Jovi. The average age of Bon Jovi is 46 but they are still popular. Paul is rather elder than them and his taste is different from " My Way" of Frank Sinatra. He sings rock famous songs with full archestra composed by great musicians.
I like horn section of "Eye Of The Tiger"(Survivor). "Wonder Wall"(Oasis) is piquant.
Drums cutting is so nice on "Jump" (Van Halen). "Smells Like Teen Spirit" is jazzy song with vibration. The ending song is Paul's favorite "Tears In Heaven" of Eric Clapton.
He is an experienced singer and he sings with great power of persuasion.
