Hello, this is Tokushige from Nihonbashi Store. This time, I would like to introduce DENON CD player.
It's been 23 years since CD came into the market in 1982. At that time I was in the 9th grade and I was like "After all it's just a record with no-wearing grooves, isn't it?" It was in 1989 when I first bought a CD. And it was in 1992 when I bought a CD player. At first I had nonsensical hostility toward CD thinking like "That can't be right to express music only with the number of 0 and 1!" though, I ended up with having many CDs for my major music source.
Well anyway this time I would like to introduce DCD-S10_2 released in 1997. The regular price at that time was 190,000 yen, and there was VRDS-25X from TEAC as a rival around the same time for the same price.
This model is the successor to DCD-S10 and equipped with DENON's original ALPHA processor + 20bitDAC as well as the previous model. In addition, it has the vibration-proof chassis and tray. Also, it can be used as the D/A converter since it is equipped with DIGITAL IN. For your information, I compared with Wadia X-32. I felt the volume feel may be inferior a bit to X-32 in low range though, this model goes almost toe-to-toe with X-32.
How would you like this elegant and sincere tone that only DENON can offer?
