Hello, this is Tsutsumi from Nihonbashi Store. It's been really cold and become a good season for audiophiles Especially for whom regularly use the vacuum tube, this season is very comfortable with the warmth of the vacuum tube, isn't it? For this kind of reason, I introduce some tube amps this time. |
First of all, it is McINTOSH. We are well-stocked with power amps of MC240, MC275, MC275R and MC60. After all they are the best looking, don't you think? When comparing the sounds, you would find yourself interested in each character. |

This is LUXMAN which can be called a symbol of the domestic tube amp. It is MQ60 on the front and MQ68C in the back. MQ68C is kind of the improved version of MQ60. And the vacuum tube structure etc. of two of them is the same though, they are different from each other in points whether it has a switch to set/unset NFB or not, it subdues the output a little bit or not and so on. |
It is SQ38F. It is a quite affordable pre-main amp. The PHONO input is the good thing about this amp since the pre-part is properly made. |
Here is audio symphony "M-05" the monaural pair amp of 6L6GCpp from U.S. This amp makes deep and powerful sounds. |
This is Northern Electric "CNAM-3" the rare amp. The rectifier tube on the transformer looks lovely. I think it will be interesting to build a quite compact system by directly putting CD because the attenuator comes with it. I think that the tone is pretty deep and the range will broaden more than you think. |
Here are two pre-main amps. These are China-made SPARK. And the design is pretty classy and the sound is quite cool. |
The last item is "30A" from Technics which used to be called Japanese Marantz 7. It makes really good sounds. Design-wise it looks a bit un-hip though, it makes glossy sound with the firm tone. |

If you are interested in tube amps in the future, I think now is the best season to take it up. Please visit our store to hear the sound while we are well-stocked with various tube amps. |
