I prepared 2 CDs. KARL SUSKE (avex-classics) 「The Great Jazz Trio/Collaboration」 (Eighty-Eight's) |

At first I chose marantz CD-17Da and ALPINE/LUXMANs integrated amplifier. I listened to KARL SUSKE and The Great Jazz Trio/Collaboration. Both are not bad. |

I think LUXs amps drive TANNOYs speakers well,especially 38FD is good. I listened to KARL SUSKE. Sound is good. But for jazz,It's not good. |

Next,I listened to them by PIONNER Exclusive power amplifier M4 and YAMAHA MVS-1. M4 is 50W+50W. |

I also listened to KARL SUSKE and The Great Jazz Trio/Collaboration. Both are really good. |

I chose LUXMAN CL-35 for control amp. It mounts 12AU7 and 12AX7. |
|
I played back KARL SUSKE. It's quick and powerful. I listened to The Great Jazz Trio/Collaboration. It's jazz! It's powerful and hot. |

I think that if you listen to jazz by TANNNOY speakers, hybrid amp is good. |
