DENON DL-103 line is coming into Ohsu Main Store one after another recently. Released in 1965 (older than me). You may not be able to find such an item which keeps being in the market since then. This week we compared 4 different types of the line. Yoichi Murakoshi |

DL-103 Regular price: 22.000 yen This is the standard. Neither hard nor soft. NHKish(?) sound has the stable sound quality. Don't you think it is pretty cool to replay the sound just simply? Why don't you have this item as a checkup tool for your audio equipments? Our price: 10,000 yen |

DL-103SL Regular price: 38,000 yen Crisp and gorgeous DENON sound with OFC coil and the ceramic body. The resolution is so brilliant. There seems a bit too much tinting, but that is very DENON. Our price: 25,000 yen |

DL-103S Regular price: 27,000 yen 103S is wider in the sound range than that of 103/Normal. The sound quality is moderately thick and moderately solid. Maybe because I had listened to SL first, I felt that the center of gravity of the sound went way down. (Though I had already read the document saying the high-range will expand..) The 103 line is very recommendable since all 103 line's sounds are "thick and solid" even though the higher-level equipments of 103 line tend to have thicker sound than that of Normal. As for me, I like this item the best among the four types above. Our price: 12,000 yen |

DL-103R Regular price: 28,000 yen 6N copper is used for power generation coil. Even though it has the modern taste tinting, the benefits of 103 line are still there. You would feel comfortable with the stretched sound of vocal and stringed instruments like violin. Our price: 14,000 yen |
