First of all, KRELL/KRS-2. Transparent and a delicate piano tone of KEITH JARRETT is expressed well. 9841 of ALTEC is a speaker of 2WAY. The subwoofer is 30cm smaller. It is feeling that and a low region ring in freshness. The presence of the concert hall seems to appear clearly, too. The vocal of Daianacrarl is good, because a transparent feeling is high and refreshing. However, it is felt to be too delicate. I think that the reason is a problem of compatibility with the POWER amplifier. The control amplifier of KRELL is still good. It expresses the depth of the sound, too. It was an impression of attractive quite amplifier.
The following are NO.380SL. I had listened to this model several times before. The impression at that time was very good. It did not change when listening this time. It is feeling not done too much though expresses a piano delicacy of KEITH JARRETT. 380SL has a cool impression compared with KRELL. The vocal of Daianacrarl is enough presence. The performance of backing is also speedy at times, and slowly at times. It can be naturally soaked in music. It is a preamp that can feel player's hot spirit though is cool. Result of listening and comparing two KRELL : LEVINSON = Shine : Shadow However, it is an evaluation at a high level. I had the impression of control amplifier with wonderful power of expression in the two.
