Finally it became cooler these days and the long-waited audio season has come. This week I would like to introduce a system you can seriously listen to "Dark Side of the Moon" the great album that will go down in the British rock music history. Kimiya Miura
B&W/Concept90_CM2 This is a 3-way 4-speaker system released in 1988. At this moment this item is no longer as unique as "Emphasis" and "Nautilus" in form. It has wide variations in color like gray, black and white. Especially white one looks totally cool. This speaker creates a quite deep sound for this "Dark Side of the Moon" album whose music sounds profound through then-revolutionary synthesizer.
	This one is a 3-way speaker system combined with a super-woofer system by setting CM1 for mid and high region. It is equipped with the sealed book shelf type CM1, which adopts the matrix system to prevent the vibration from enclosure, and two corn-type 13cm-woofers. The sound created by R. Waters and D. Gilmore produces the futuristic atmosphere. The effective SE like "Time" and "Money" plays an important role and you can notice the realistic sound reproduction.
SONY/SCD-XA777ES SACD player released in 2001. This item was released as traditional ES series for pure audiophiles at that time. It is equipped with 6 "super-audio D/A converter (SA DAC)" the newly developed multi-level D/A converter, which consists of two or more 1-bit current sources. The rich circuit structure processes one channel at a time when playing multi-channel and uses 3 converter per channel when playing stereo 2 channel for high-quality sound.
	SACD supports stereo 2 channel and multi-channel play as well as CD-R/RW besides CD. Listened to "Dark Side of the Moon", I was impressed by the high performance in sound creation this time again, though I always find a new thing every time the media changes with times like from analog to CD. The delicate sound created by Alan Persons as an engineer is expressed amazingly.
ARCAM/FMJ A32 This item is a pre main amp released in 2002. It ensures the sufficient driving power by adopting the power transistor with the agility and sustainability to fully support a high-definition sound such as SACD. It offers sounds that go far even with low performance speakers. D. Gilmore's bluesy guitar sounds stand out and go further.
	You can enjoy analog discs casually since it includes a phono circuit supporting MM/MC as standard equipment. And it is very user-friendly with the remote control as an accessory. At that time in England their recording work was reported quite exaggeratedly, and which pressured them a lot. And everybody expected a lot in unpredictable music. This is how the long-waited album, which changed the flow of Rock afterwards, was created. So please enjoy this music in the first-class sound system.
Pink Floyd /Dark Side of the Moon This is the 8th album by PINK FLOYD released in 1973. It is a monster album that recorded marvelous long-run sales ranked on the Billboard chart in U.S. for 570 weeks. This album is surely their masterpiece both in name and reality.
