I ordered a brand new cabinet and assembled it! The tone arm has been maintained, from disassembling and lubricating the motor to replacing the platter mat with a new one. Both the pulley and strobe are equipped with 50 Hz specifications. Furthermore, the luxurious system of the brand new wood cabinet UTOPIA 222 PRO W and SME 3012R. Lots of thick, strong, and sticky noises unique to idler drives. It is a very comfortable player system that is compatible with various weights and needle pressures, from lightweight to heavyweight, and can be enjoyed with your favorite cartridge according to your mood and genre (Oikawa Tetsuji)
Maintenance Information: 2026.6.13 Maintained (removed from cabinet. Motor disassembly/inspection, lubrication, assembly. Motor suspension spring rubber deterioration → replacement. Main bearing disassembly, cleaning, grease filling, oil sealant application and assembly. Linkage mounting isolation grommet deterioration replacement. Pulley (changed from 60 Hz specification to 50 Hz specification) replacement/adjustment. idler cleaning. TT mat deteriorated (hardened) → replaced with a new one. Noise suppressor replacement. Mount washer deteriorated → replaced with a new one. Built into the cabinet. /Arm (dirt, rust) → cleaning. Baseplate mounting grommets deteriorated and replaced. Subweight rubber ring replacement. Add/install an output cable and earth lead. Contact cleaning. Continuity check. Mounting wood screws, original addition. Running test → OK, 3012R: main weight pipe fixed part adjustment. Mainweight slide spiral gear part coated with silicone oil. (Inspection of each part)
