We are sure that the nostalgic sound will remind you, being as a reader of Hi Fi Do Online Newsletter, of its audio manufacturer, model number and so on.
And we would like to feature those nostalgic sounds and the audio equipments that you remember along with them.
We are not sure if we can answer all the requests though, we will do our best to feature as much as possible.

4.Walking around Akihabara

I tried to replace a few kinds of condensers to repair the DC leakage from the trio transistor amp. But I decided to give up on repairing since that was beyond my control.

The auction in this week is as follows:

1) Demonstration CD for SONY CD sales anniversary of the year 1982

This is a demonstration CD of the year when SONY CD was released.
"Compact Disk – this new world- DEMONSTRATION DISC"
YEDS-1, Regular price: N/A (since this article was not for sale)
The content is like a digest version of songs by CBS/SONY and EPIC artists.
The artists include Ryo Kawasaki, Kimiko Kasai, Eiji Kitamura, Eiichi Otaki, Momoe Yamaguchi, Seiko Matsuda, Hiroko Nakamura and Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi.

The album includes pop to jazz and classical music mainly by Japanese artists though; all the songs fade away in the middle of the song.
The recording is quite good in quality. It is full of 80's sounds.
Digital and analogue sounds are mixed in the recording.
I am not sure if this album was a kind of bonus coming with some product or they were giving away as novelty goods.
There are dog ears in the sleeve notes. There are some scratches on the record.
But I didn't hear any skipping sound.
